Job description: Read and interpret blueprints, drawings and specifications; perform job-site calculations; erect structural steel; install reinforcing steel; install pre and post-tensioned cables; assemble and erect metal buildings; install structural and architectural pre-cast concrete components; other area of specialization. Major work area: fabrication, new construction, in-plant maintenance. Work conditions: physically demanding. Requirements: Education: Completion of high school, completion of college/CEGEP/vocational or technical training. Experience: as an asset. Essential skills: reading text, document use, numeracy, writing, oral communication, working with others, problem solving, decision making, critical thinking, job task planning and organizing, finding information, continuous learning. Language: English: reading, writing, speaking. We offer: Terms of employment: full time / shift. Salary: $18-$45 hourly, depending on experience and education.
