In Lithuania we successfully operate for 13 years and have had many opportunities to enjoy our clients and candidates success.</span></span></p><p><span style="font-size:12px"><span style="font-family:arial,helvetica,sans-serif">More job offers: www.cvo.lt</span></span></p><p> </p><p><span style="font-size:12px"><span style="font-family:arial,helvetica,sans-serif">Our client - an independent company builder focusing on Advertising Technology (Ad Tech) Business Models is looking for:</span></span></p></td> </tr> <tr> <td colspan="2" class="jobadPosition" align="left"><b itemprop="title">SENIOR JAVA BACKEND ENGINEER</td> </tr> <tr> <td colspan="2" class="jobadDescription" itemprop="description"><p><strong>RESPONSIBILITIES</strong></p><p style="margin-left:1.0pt">- Passion about delivering a well-designed, performant and scalable backend system;</p><p style="margin-left:1.0pt">- Participate in architecting backend systems and our Rest-API for frontend and others components;</p><p style="margin-left:1.0pt">- Take responsibility - own, plan and execute your projects;</p><p style="margin-left:1.0pt"><span style="font-size:12px">- Connect third party systems via APIs to automate large tasks and data transfer;</span></p><p style="margin-left:1.0pt">- Perform unit tests and identify, troubleshoot and resolve production bugs;</p><p style="margin-left:1.0pt">- Work together in an agile and excellent team closely with product and other developers;</p><p style="margin-left:1.0pt">- Write efficient, scalable and well documented code;</p><p style="margin-left:1.0pt">- Provide mentorship and guidance to junior engineers.</p><p style="margin-left:1.0pt"> </p><p><strong>QUALIFICATION</strong></p><p style="margin-left:1.0pt">- You are motivated, a problem-solver and detail-oriented in your work;</p><p style="margin-left:1.0pt">- Graduated with a degree in Computer Science or similar field and a high level of proficiency in object oriented languages;</p><p style="margin-left:1.0pt">- Experience designing, implementing projects in a highly scalable and performant environment;</p><p style="margin-left:1.0pt">- 5+ years of experience in Java and hands-on experience with Spring or Play Framework;</p><p style="margin-left:1.0pt">- 2+ years of experience in developing backend service and creating APIs, developing micro services is a big plus;</p><p style="margin-left:1.0pt">- Experience with version control system (SVN or Git) and development / release process;</p><p style="margin-left:1.0pt">- Experience in SQL, skills with big data technologies (Spark, Hive or Java MapReduce) is a big plus;</p><p style="margin-left:1.0pt">- Strong knowledge in unit & integration testing;</p><p style="margin-left:1.0pt">- Experience in cloud / PaaS infrastructure (such as Amazon E3, Heroku) or experience deploying, monitoring and tuning high performance code in a SaaS environment is a plus; </p><p style="margin-left:1.0pt">- Experience with fullstack technologies is a plus (HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, Ajax, AngularJS);</p><p style="margin-left:1.0pt">- Good English communication skills, since we are working internationally;</p><p style="margin-left:1.0pt">- Conceptual knowledge of online advertising space and hand-on experience in building ad tech, including analytics, ad serving, targeting, real time bidding (DSP, SSP, DMP) is a big plus. </p><p style="margin-left:1.0pt"> </p><p><strong>OFFERING</strong></p><p><strong>- </strong><span style="font-size:12px">Exciting startup atmosphere, work on challenging and highly interesting topics.</span></p><p> </p><p><span style="background-color:rgb(255, 255, 255); font-size:12px">Interested?
